Chandigarh: Man held for sexually assaulting minor girl

The Chandigarh Police arrested a man yesterday for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl. The incident reportedly occurred in the Sector 26 area of the city. The accused, identified as a local resident, was apprehended following a complaint filed by the victim's family. He has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Further investigation into the case is currently underway.
