Chandigarh: Two held with 1.2 kg opium

Chandigarh Police arrested two individuals, including a woman, and seized 1.2 kg of opium from them. The arrests were made yesterday near the Sector 43 bus stand. The accused, identified as Balwinder Singh and Balwinder Kaur, were allegedly involved in drug peddling. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against them, and further investigation is underway to trace the source of the contraband.
