Hamirpur: Patwari Arrested for Taking ₹2,000 Bribe

A patwari (revenue official) was apprehended by the Vigilance Bureau in Hamirpur on Monday. The official, identified as Sanjeev Kumar, was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of ₹2,000. The bribe was allegedly demanded for processing a land mutation. A resident of Badsar filed the complaint, leading to the patwari's arrest at his office.
