Himachal Pradesh government to implement 'Him Ganga' scheme for milk producers

The Himachal Pradesh government is set to launch the 'Him Ganga' scheme, a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the income of milk producers across the state. Approved by the state cabinet two days ago, this scheme will focus on improving the quality of milk and milk products while ensuring fair prices for farmers. It is expected to boost the rural economy and promote sustainable dairy farming practices. The government plans to invest approximately Rs 300 crore over five years to support th
