Kullu to Establish New Himalayan Folk Art and Craft Centre

The Himachal Pradesh government has announced plans to establish a dedicated Himalayan Folk Art and Craft Centre in Kullu. This initiative aims to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage and traditional craftsmanship of the region. The centre is expected to provide training to local artisans and offer a platform for showcasing their unique skills. Officials state that the project will also boost cultural tourism and create new livelihood opportunities for the community. The foundation stone for the centre is scheduled to be laid next month.
