Solan: 10-year-old boy drowns in river

A 10-year-old boy tragically drowned in the Balad river near Kasauli in Solan district yesterday. The victim, identified as Ankit from Uttar Pradesh, was visiting relatives and reportedly slipped into the water while playing near the riverbank. Local residents and police initiated a search, recovering his body later the same day. Authorities have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
