Manali hotelier held for duping tourist of Rs 1.5 lakh

A hotelier in Manali was arrested yesterday for allegedly duping a tourist from Delhi of Rs 1.5 lakh. The victim reported that the hotelier, identified as Rakesh Kumar, took the money for a hotel booking and a taxi service but failed to provide either. The incident came to light after the tourist filed a complaint with the local police. Investigations are ongoing, and the police are urging tourists to be cautious when making bookings.
