Monsoon to hit Kerala on May 31, Karnataka to follow soon

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the southwest monsoon will arrive in Kerala on May 31. Following its arrival in Kerala, the monsoon is expected to advance into Karnataka shortly thereafter. This forecast brings much-needed relief to the region, which has been experiencing hot and dry conditions. Farmers and residents are eagerly awaiting the onset of the rainy season.
