Zirakpur MC plans to install smart streetlights

The Zirakpur Municipal Council is preparing to replace all conventional streetlights with modern smart LED lights throughout the town. This significant initiative aims to improve public safety and drastically cut down on energy consumption. Estimated to cost approximately Rs 15 crore, the project will illuminate major roads and residential zones. Officials anticipate the tender process will commence next month, with installations starting within three months.
